Erin is a late in life dancer, after a failed stint in preschool ballet in the early 80s. She initially danced Argentine tango in the Kansas City area, but was drawn to belly dance for its body positivity, sense of community, and lack of 4″ stiletto heels. She initially studied cabaret in 2008, then performed and taught tribal fusion and Hot Pot-style ITS from 2009-2012, and then finally found her dance home in ATS® and hasn’t looked back. She has studied with Susan Warner of Project Shimmy, Cyndi Cyreigna Elliott of Irie Tribal, and has attended numerous workshops and intensives around the United States. She is also the co-producer of ATS® Reunion, an annual belly dance convention 100% dedicated to all things ATS® Erin completed her General Skills certification in 2017 and her Teacher Training certification at 2018.
