I began belly dancing in the Summer of 2000.  I was looking for a fun way to get in shape and recover from a knee replacement surgery from the year before.  Not only did I eventually lose over 50lbs., I also found my heart and soul.  This dance has been such a gift; from the amazing women I have had the joy to connect with, to the blessings of self-esteem and self-realization.

     I am honored to have directed such an amazing troupe of women and men that was Twisted Gypsy.  This troupe was my greatest joy and I am proud to have served and been a part of such a talented group of artists.  We created together for 9 years and the experience will always be in my heart.

Currently, I direct a Level 2 & 3 advanced student performance troupe,Crescent Rose Tribal.  I do my best to create a positive and nurturing environment for my students to express their joy & passion.  The Roses perform at street faires, hafla’s, schools, fund raisers, and a variety of belly dance events. 

       For fun, I make enjoy making jewelry and other crafts.  It’s been a hobby of mine for over 20 years.  The world is full of beautiful inspirations and I plan to enjoy this art form into my crone years.  From spiritual talismans to Swarovski crystal weaving, Tribal dance jewelry to simple blends of color, I make something for everyone.  Visit my Etsy shop:  Studio of the Moon

     In addition to ATS, I have studied American & Turkish Cabaret styles, and have taken workshops in Dunyavi Gypsy, Indian, Tribal Fusion, and Shamanic Fusion.  The journey has been wonderfully inspiring & the learning never ending.  Many thanks to all of my teachers through the years.
