My name is Silvia Chen from Taiwan. My job is a physical therapist and lasts for 21 years. I learned belly dance for nearly 10 years. Initially, oriental belly dance was my foundation and one of my leisure time activates. Before that, I had never learned anything about dance including yoga.
From 2009, I started to experience ATS® and got ATS® General Skills certification from Carolena in 2011. In the following years, I join a belly dance troupe, and practice belly dance more intensively. Average speaking, I practice 7-hours belly dance containing 3-hours ATS® and additional 2-hours ballet weekly. I attended tribal fest in 2010, and also participated belly dance-related workshops learned from Ansuya, Tamalyn, Amar Gamal, Mardi Love, Mat Jacob, Bozenka, Samantha, Andrea Sendek and other style of dance such as Indian, latonya style in Taiwan. Moreover, I joined Kami’ s workshops for 3 times and Moria Chappell’s tribal fusion teacher training in 2014. This year, I went to the U.S. to join the workshop for the 8 Elements™ intensive I: initiation with Rachel Brice and passed the written and practical components of the test.
This year, 2017, I finished ATS® Teacher Training in January. At the same time, I participated my first time Homecomings.
